Hudson played t-ball!
He LOVED it!
He certainly wasn't the best or anything, but it was so good for him.

cutest little baseball fan

We took the kids to see Toy Story 4.
The first picture was before the movie started. They were terrified and didn't understand we were just watching a movie. The second picture is after when they understood the movie theater wasn't a scary place haha.

Hudson and Ella had their first experience with getting hosed off

Another trip to the monster truck show thanks to Taylor's work.

We took Hudson and Ella on a spontaneous trip to Disneyland.
Read all about that trip HERE.
We made the choice to leave Avery with Taylor's parents because we knew the long car ride and being in a stroller a lot of the days would have been too much for her. She was at such a mobile stage that slowing her down would not have been fun for her.
While we were gone she got her first stitches. She got into a fight with a garbage can. It definitely added more guilt for leaving her behind, but 4 stitches later she was good as new.

We finished up the basement!
It involved a whole lot of painting, laying flooring, doors, trim, finishing touches, and messiness.
One day I walked away to make a phone call and one of the kids decided to help paint.....

9 months out and 9 months in

When you child decides he doesn't need to sit with the family for dinner..

Uncle Matt came up for another visit.
He came right before the 4th of July, so naturally he had to bring some fireworks for the kids.
We also took a quick trip to the zoo while he was here.
A zoo keeper walked a penguin right up to the window for the kids to see.

4th of July Sunday best
