May

We started May off with the Idaho Falls temple open house.
Not a whole lot changed on the inside besides getting it up to current codes, but it was still a great family night walking through it.
Hudson was wild while trying to watch the little preview movie and Ella hit her head pretty hard while watching the movie so we started it off really well haha.
Hudson despised the booties and wanted to climb on everything, but overall it was a good time.
We stopped at Wendys on the way home because we were STARVING by the time we got out and then put the kids to bed.

I don't actually remember why I even took this picture, but I could probably take this same picture every single day because there's hardly a day that goes by that Hudson doesn't drive his tractor around.

Random zoo pictures from the month.
Getting a zoo pas for Christmas was definitely one of Hudson's best presents this past year. We found ourselves there at least once a week and some weeks twice.
It's the best way to get out of the house and burn some energy.

We headed down to Logan for my cousin, Tyler's, wedding. I just love all of the flowers on this temple ground. We forgot Taylor's recommend (Which we actually found in the car a few weeks later. Oops.) so he hung out with the kids during the sealing. Truthfully, it was probably for the best because the kids were kind of grumpy from the car ride and they were both tired.

Grandma Lloyd got Hudson this adorable suit for church so we, of course, had to get a picture to send to her. This makes me miss his longer hair...

Our Mother's Day was pretty low key. I bought myself a heat press for making shirts as my present and I'm in love with it :) Normally I don't make a big deal of any sort of holidays with presents, but I've wanted a heat press for a long while and this was the perfect excuse to treat myself to one.
Taylor brought me home some gorgeous white orchids Saturday night, and after killing two of the flowers on it I'm proud to say the rest of the flowers are still alive and well.
We ate dinner that night with the BUshes and make Taylor and Will make everyone dinner. They chose spaghetti, and it didn't turn out half bad.
My first Mother's Day craft from Hudson. He made it in nursery at church, and it was so cute!
It hung on our fridge for a long while until Hudson got it down and spilled something on it.

Random pictures from dinners with the Bushes.
We're probably due for a new picture of Hudson hugging Emma.
They're going to get married one day and when they do we're going to display all of these hugging pictures at their wedding.

Taylor's work, Pioneer, was sponsoring the monster truck show at Sandy Downs which meant free tickets for us :)
The weather was a little cold and we didn't stay for too long because of bedtimes, but everyone had fun. Hudson was terrified of how loud they were and kept making Taylor cover his ears, but he also was so excited about them. Ella didn't care about how long they were and her eyes were locked on the trucks when they were driving around.
We came home with a big bag of kettle corn that Hudson proceeded to eat for a pre bedtime snack and breakfast the next morning. He is a kettle corn addict.

I went to a training in Provo for LuLaRoe and got to meet quite a few girls that are on the same team as I am. It was a nice little girls trip with Carly.
We went to Super Target, In N Out, and Krispy Kreme along with our training so all in all it was basically a perfect kid free day.

On Memorial Day we went to Mesa Falls.
We made it about halfway through the hike to the lower falls and then turned back because Hudson couldn't really walk because of a rash on his leg and it was getting to be pretty hot outside.
At least we got to see the upper falls and now we have a reason to make it back there since we still need to see the lower falls.

Random Pictures from the Month:

I set Ella in the back of the van with the check so we could walk to the bank to make the car payment and then ran inside to grab something real fast. When I walked back outside I found a half eaten check hahaha.

12 Months of Ella// Month 10

Weight: 21ish pounds

Height: 29 inches

Diapers: Size 3

Clothes: 9 months and 12 months

Sleeping: She takes two 2ish hour naps a day and is usually going down for the night between 7 and 8 and waking up around 7:30 for the day. She is no longer swaddled. FINALLY! Pretty much when I stopped swaddling her she stopped wanting us to put her to sleep. Now I put her in her crib with a bottle, turn on her sound machine, and she puts herself to sleep. Sometimes she will babble for a little while and other times she goes right to sleep. If she doesn't fall asleep very quickly and when she wakes up she reaches through the crib slots and grabs countless headbands and other things that are in the storage cart next to her bed.

Eating: She is starting to take purees less and less, but she will eat them if they're in a food pouch. Thank goodness for reusable food pouches! She out eats Hudson during most meals, but that's no surprise when you see all the chub. She only drinks bottles when she goes to bed, and is still drinking 6 ounces then. Favorite food include: graham crackers, watermelon, lasagna, ice cream, and strawberry Cheerios. For having no teeth the girl does extremely well at eating. Whenever she sees food she has a signature grunt she does when she wants you to feed her. It's both hilarious and annoying.

Milestones: Says "dadada" now. Standing for brief periods of time without holding onto anything. Still no teeth. First oreo thanks to Aunt Bekah. First Fourth of July. Met her Great Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Denny for the first time.

Likes: bath time/ any and all of Hudson's toys-especially any that he is playing with at that moment/ being outside/ her blanket

Dislikes: Being shut in a room by herself (normally done so by Hudson)/ diaper changes/ the sun in her face while riding in the car

Personality: Ella is really starting to realize when she makes you laugh, and if she makes you laugh she will do whatever it is she was doing again and again. Once she finds something she's really interested in she will play with it for quite a while.  She follows everyone around and constantly climbs up your legs.
Her 9 month check up went great. It was our 3rd time at the doctor's office in two weeks, so we were happy to have it taken care of.
Starting to stand on her own!
