Hudson helped me make our traditional Valentine's Day sugar cookies.
Apparently, it was just before bedtime when we made them because that's the only time he wears a diaper.
We closed up the flour while cleaning up, but left it on the table without thinking much about it. The next morning Hudson helped himself to the flour and made a lovely mess in our dining room. Thankfully, it wasn't anything the vacuum and a washcloth couldn't take care of.
Our Valentine's Day was low key.
We hung out at home all day and ate more cookies than we should have :)
Taylor and I got each other nothing, and celebrated the evening at home with a decently nice dinner.
We had our first appointment for baby number 3.
I love getting an official due date, and seeing the heart beat on the ultrasound.
It makes it so much more real and gives you at least a little bit of comfort during the first trimester.
Hudson had his first real teeth cleaning.
That display case is full of cars from the Cars movie. He could have stood there and looked at them all day long if I let him.
Trying to get x-rays of his molars was hilarious because he couldn't figure out how to keep the guard thing in the place they needed it, but otherwise everything went really well.
He got to watch Cars 3 as the dental hygienist cleaned his teeth, which was an added bonus for him.
We were very happy to hear that he was cavity free, and Hudson was happy with his little goody bag of dental supplies and the small toy he got to pick out on the way out of the office.
When you turn away from watching the kids play with a sensory bin for two seconds and Ella decides to get a little crazy....
