Hudson is TWO!

Weight: 26 pounds exactly-39th percentile

Height: 33 and 1/4 inches-20th percentile

Clothes: He still wears a lot of 18 month clothing. I have to roll the sleeves and pants on any clothes that are 2t or 24 months. He wears size 5 going on size 6 shoes. He LOVES his rain boots and constantly puts them on even just to wear around the house.

Sleeping: He takes one good nap any time after 12 until 2 or 3. He goes to bed at 8 and is typically between 7 and 8. He has to have his tractor pillow pet and his blue elephant. He still sleeps with a binky, but that will probably change soon if we get our way. If he gets his way, then he will probably sleep with it forever.. Every single time he wakes up he has to bring his tractor and his elephant to the living room, and he gets upset if he catches you putting them back in his room.

Eating: Getting Hudson to eat can be a major challenge. He doesn't have the attention span nor can he sit still long enough to eat more than a bite or two. He loves to eat with utensils and loves to dip his foods. He has to have whatever we're eating including a whole piece of pizza rather than a piece cut up. Milk is still his go to before bedtime and any time during the day. He constantly seems to be walking towards the cupboard with cups in it and signing more. He has proven that a person can survive solely on milk for multiple days. His favorite foods are chicken nuggets, cheese, yogurt, french fries, peas, and candy. He definitely has my sweet tooth..

Milestones: Can count to 3 (he usually skips 1..), knows pretty much all animal sounds including but not limited to cow, horse, duck, frog, camel, dog, lion, tiger, sheep, monkey

Likes: Ella, being tickled, rough housing with dad, Mickey Mouse, Paw Patrol, Chuggington, looking out the living room window, being outside, anything sweet, dancing, blowing kisses, books, cars, trains, his electric motorcycle, snow, riding forward facing in the car and looking out the window

Dislikes: Not getting his way, when Ella is taken off of the floor, getting his hair cut, not being allowed to use the ipad or our phones, commercials, having to do something or go somewhere that isn't on his agenda, the vacuum

Quirks: When he hears Ella wake up he points down the hall and says, "Ella" until you get up to go get her. He kisses everyone and everything including a random little boy at open gym, the floor, Ella, our feet, his tractor pillow pet, his elephant, Taylor and I, etc. He also makes his elephant give kisses to things. He wants to hold Ella's bottle and hold her binky in her mouth, and if he wants to do it, then you are absolutely not allowed to help him in any way. He pretends to sleep all the time. He'll lay his head down and whisper choo repeatedly with his eyes scrunched shut. He expects you to ask him if he is sleeping every time he does it. He always says "Bye. See ya." and then blows a kiss whenever he leaves or someone he knows well leaves the house.

He still doesn't really talk very much. He has his certain words that he can say, but he never really seems to add to them.
No is his favorite word and it's his answer for every. single. question. Where is Ella? No. What do you want to do? No. Do you want milk? No. Should we go outside? No. Are you hungry? No. Why did you do that? No. What do you want for breakfast? No.

He can usually be found reading, standing in the front window, lining up his cars or driving them around, driving his motorcycle around the house, or getting into something that he shouldn't be.

Hudson has the goofiest personality. He loves to make us laugh with his funny faces, dirty looks, and killer dances moves. He is such a sweet and loving child. He gives us kisses and hugs whenever we ask as well as completely random times, and he gives Ella kisses all the time. This age is hard (like every age is), but man do I love it. I wish I could bottle up everything I love about this age and keep it forever.
