Late summer 2018 was the year for street floods.
There were multiple storms that flooded our little corner and the neighborhood kids took full advantage of it by running and splashing in it until it drained hours later.
The day Taylor officially became the favorite parent.
We finally tackled the shower walls in the bathroom.
It made SUCH a difference to the space, and we learned so much doing it.
The biggest thing I learned was how to tile. Thanks people on Youtube for teaching me.
We took advantage of the huge pieces of cardboard the shower walls came in and let the kids wild with paint in the backyard. And apparently Carly and I don't think to check the weather because a summer storm rolled in about 15-20 minutes later and put an end to the fun.
every. single. zoo. trip.
The kids literally cannot walk past this without asking me to take a picture of them on it.
We took the kids to Rexburg Rapids one Saturday afternoon.
Once Hudson warmed up to the water he had a blast playing on all of the things.
Ella was definitely a bit more apprehensive and hung out by Taylor or I the whole time.
Afternoon swim in the backyard
Aunt Bekah and Uncle Nile came up for a weekend, and the kids had so much fun with them.
This was their most favorite thing about the whole weekend.
Taylor and I were quick to inform them that wasn't something parents did- only aunts and uncles because they never would have let us stop.
Hudson came out one Sunday "ready for church"
We felt only a little bit bad informing him that wasn't exactly church approved attire.
