November

Nothing in November could top our trip to California that we did at the beginning of the month, but we sure did try to squeeze in some fun.
California posts can be found here and here.

Looked over during church to see Ella getting protective of everything she was playing with haha.
And oh my goodness that sweet face.

We bought a year long membership to the museum which meant that we had to go take a trip to see the space exhibit before it ended. The space exhibit was a little above the kids level, but the children's discovery room is always a hit.

Ella got an early Christmas present from Uncle Sheldon and Aunt Kristyn.
She LOVES the unicorn, and I think Hudson loves having her have a stuffed animal that's the same size as his "big bear." One of their favorite past times is bringing them out to the living room and climbing and jumping all over them,

A few get togethers for these cute boys so us moms could do some crafting.
In the second picture Nixon is wearing Hudson's clothes.. We had the back door open while the boys were playing out back, and all of a sudden heard Nixon crying. We walked outside to find Nixon SOAKED from the hose. The scene looked like they were trying to give the Cozy Coupe a car wash and Nixon fell victim to the hose. More than likely thanks to Hudson haha. Now mind you this is November and the high couldn't have been more than 50, and it's hose water which is freezing either way. So funny and naughty. I thought that I heard the hose running, but told myself it was just the heat making the noise it does before it kicks on. I should have gone with my first instinct and knew they were up to something.

We went to Taylor's parents for Thanksgiving.
I can't argue a day filled with food and happy kids playing with family.
We left with full bellies and in enough time to get the kids to bed on time, so we were all happy.

Typical Hudson. Using his undies as a pocket because pants are optional in his mind. Ew.

Showing off his shirt from Poppy and Gigi :)

We hosted a get together with neighbors for a friendsgiving shortly after Thanksgiving.
It was SO good!
So much good food and good company.
8 adults and 8 kids 5 and under (really all but one 3 and under haha)
I loved getting to taste what other families have for their holiday meals.
And I didn't screw up cooking the turkey so I was pretty proud of myself haha.

Hudson loves Christmas so much! He was so excited when all of the decorations hit the stores, and even more excited when we decorated the house. His favorite thing is the train even though it spends more time derailed by our little Godzillas than it does on the tracks haha.
