We started the month off with the Idaho Falls' Temple rededication.
Rebekah and Emily came down and watched our kids and the Bushes kids, so we could attend the dedication. The stories from them when we got back were amusing. We only left them with the four kids for about an hour, but they had their fair share of events in that time.
We were so grateful to them for watching our crazy kids. The dedication was good, and we are so happy to have our temple back after just over 2 years of renovation.
These pictures on Ella and how small she was killll me.
I can't believe how big she has gotten!
Anyway, splash pad fun!
We didn't get here too often thanks to at least one child napping all day long, but when we did both children were in heaven.
Hudson loved both the splash pad and the playground, and Ella loved hanging out in the shade with me.
Those cheeks!
I went to a LuLaRoe training in Wyoming.
I got to meet one of the founders and owners of LuLaRoe, and enjoyed a yummy dinner while we listened to some great training and advice.
Father's day 2017.
I made Taylor and Hudson's ties as well Ella's matching bow.
I'm pretty sure we did dinner with the Bushes that night, but I have no idea what we made.
This is what I get for blogging about it 5 months later.
We (mainly I) potty trained Hudson just shy of officially being 2.5 years old.
Taylor was home for the first few days of potty training (And by home I mean working at least 9-10 hours a day), and then he left on a work trip for a week. It only took Hudson a week and a halfish to fully master it. (We weren't concerned at all about naps and nighttime because he loves to go to bed with a drink) We told Hudson he could pick out almost any toy he wanted from Taylor's work. He couldn't decide between two different toys, but we convinced him to go for the slightly cheaper service truck.
Great Grandma Thomas, Aunt Sue, and Aunt Terri came to visit for a weekend.
We went out to dinner, walked the greenbelt, did some shopping, swam a little bit, made some shirts, and enjoyed each other's company. It was so great to see my Grandma again, and having her meet Ella for the first time. Hudson absolutely loves when people come to visit, so he was in heaven the whole time.
Grandma brought Ella's outfit on the right with her, and I'm pretty sure she gave us Ella's dress on the left a while ago.
Grandma Thomas brought this little cake pop making kit and recipe book with her, and Hudson was dying to make them the whole time they were here.
We never had two seconds to make them until after they left, but they did not disappoint! :)
If you didn't know where Hudson was in the backyard, there was a very good chance you'd find him in our little strawberry patch. Both of our kids are OBSESSED with fresh strawberries.
