Mountain biking was super fun but SO hard. First we rode down on the road, and then we went up on the trail. Going up was extremely difficult considering that 1. I'm out of shape and 2. the trail was not easy.
There were some gorgeous views.
Guys, I'm so white.
We went up for quite a ways before we got back to where the trucks were parked. We then grabbed one of the trucks and drove the rest of the way up the mountain, so we would get to spend some time going down.
Going down was still hard but nothing like the way up. We got a little lost, had a lot of fun, and no one got seriously hurt.
After we were done biking we headed to Taylor's family's shop to ride around on some dirt bikes and the Rzr. We also got reunited with Hudson while we were at the shop. (Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Lloyd for watching him!) The Blues seemed to have a good time, and Taylor got to ride a dirt bike again which made him happy. Riding made everyone dusty and dirty, so I think we were all ready to relax a bit.
This is the view from the back deck of where the Blues were staying.
It doesn't get much better than that.
After dinner we went to soak in the hot springs. It was just what we needed after working our bodies all day long. Hudson LOVED the hot springs. He sat extremely still went we first got in, and then he became more comfortable with it and splashed around like he usually does in the tub. We figured it was best to make our way home shortly after we were done at the springs since we had a very tired babe by that time.
It was a day that I would love to relive over and over again. Taylor and I definitely need to find ourselves outdoors more often.
