This picture looks worse than the situation was, but poor little guy was feeling so miserable Saturday morning.
With Hudson being sick and the weather being cold and windy we decided it was probably best to forgo the trunk or treat and headed down to Grace to visit my in laws. Hudson trick or treated at their door and then ditched his costume.
We spent the night at my in laws, went to stake conference there, and then headed home the next day. It was a nice little night away, but Hudson had the worst night that I think he has ever had. It included accidently being woken up at 10:30, lots of tears, driving around from 12:45-1:45 trying to get him to calm down and sleep, and finally getting him to go to sleep just after 2.
And now for some other Halloween/fall activities because I know that I won't have time to blog about them in a separate post.
We went to a corn maze and pumpkin patch a week before Halloween.
The maze was way harder than last year, and we definitely got our butts kicked by it.
Hudson had fallen asleep on the way to it, so he was off and on with being okay in his stroller.
The not okay with the stroller times were spent on his dad's shoulders.
I so wish that his eyes were open in the hugging/picking up picture
Both blurry because he never stops moving but the pure joy in these pictures makes my heart melt.
Hudson helped make our traditional sugar cookies in the shapes of ghosts and pumpkins the Sunday before Halloween.
We carved pumpkins the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
Taylor's is on the left with mine on the right.
And I think that concludes our Halloween and fall activities.
NOw to get around to blogging about our mountain biking adventure, and I think all of October will be blogged about.
