12 Months of Avery// Month 10

Weight: almost 18 pounds

Height: 27ish inches

Diapers: Size 3

Clothes: 6-9 months, and 9 months.

Sleeping: Sleeps through the night and takes two naps a day- one at 9:30ish and sometime between 2 and 3. Her naps usually last around 2 hours. She continues to be a rockstar at sleeping in her crib as long as her fan is on and she doesn't unplug it.

Eating: 4-6 ounces every time she goes to sleep and she has a 4 ounce bottle when she wakes up in the morning. She wants to eat whatever you're eating. So far, there hasn't really been anything she hasn't liked. She especially loves watermelon, yogurt melts, and pasta.

Milestones: She can stand for a good length of time without holding onto anything. Cruises on everything. Walks with the walker. First time getting stitches. First time we left her over night/for multiple nights. First 4th of July.

Likes: being around people/ food/ sippy cups with water/ her dad/ mimicking sounds

Dislikes: anyone closing the baby gate and going downstairs without her/ getting buckled in her car seat

12 Months of Avery// Month 9

Weight: 17ish pounds

Height: 27ish inches

Diapers: Size 3

Clothes: 6 months, 6-9 months, and 9 months.

Sleeping: Sleeps through the night. Two naps a day- one at 9:30ish and sometime between 2 and 3. She's really really great at sleeping in her crib.

Eating: 4-6 ounces every time she goes to sleep and she has a bottle when she wakes up in the morning. She still loves anything and everything we've fed her. She wants to eat whatever you're eating. She's regularly found eating any snack Hudson or Ella leave on the floor.

Milestones: She's everywhere and into everything. Cruising on furniture. In the last couple of days I have seen her start to try to stand without holding onto anything, but she's still a ways off from actually being able to stand independently. She has started to mimic other people's actions/noises.

Likes: her dad/ Hudson and Ella's room/ food/ moving around/ sippy cups/ blowing raspberries

Dislikes: Will/ being left alone/ getting buckled in her car seat/

12 Months of Avery// Month 8

Weight: 16ish pounds

Height: 26ish inches

Diapers: Size 3

Clothes: 6 months and 6-9 months. I haven't switched out her clothes yet, so she still wears mostly 6 months clothing

Sleeping: Most nights she sleeps through the night, but it isn't necessarily uncommon for her to wake up in the middle of the night. If she wakes up, it is usually after 4 AM and you just hand her a bottle and go back to bed. She takes 2 naps a day around 10 and 2, and she nap for 2-3+ hours each nap.

Eating: 4-6 ounces every 3+ hours. She loves all food. Puffs and yogurt melts always make her happy. She eats tiny pieces of whatever we eat these days. Purees are too dang time consuming, so she probably won't eat them again until she is big enough to eat them out of a pouch.

Milestones: Hands and knees crawling. She's gotten so fast at crawling! Self feeding. She can sit herself up. Pulls herself to standing.

Likes: bottles-she gets so excited when she hears the sound the baby brezza makes as it makes a bottle/ being held/ snuggling/ her dad

Dislikes: having her nose and faced wiped/ teething/ grass- she's still very unsure about it

Avery continues to be one of the best babies ever. She's easy going and content to simply be around the action. She is just about always happy.

She became old enough to get her flu shot right at the end of flu season, and we decided to do the shots this season so she wouldn't have to get the booster next season. She handled it like a champ and was so pleased with the sticker stick the nurse made her.

June

We took a little family trip to the splash pad one late afternoon.
Ella wanted nothing to do with the cold water, but it didn't take Hudson too terribly long to get brave enough to get wet.
So many afternoons spent out on the front lawn killing time and waiting for dad to get home from work.

Zoo trips!
Hudson got super lucky that they were working on the zebras' area one day. Getting to watch them work the machinery was the best part of our zoo trip that day.

Cabelas had a little fishing event we took the kids to one hot Saturday.
They didn't catch anything, but they sure were happy to be there.

For father's day I bought Taylor a hammock with money I made! I LOVE it when I make enough money from my little etsy shop to support holiday gift buying.
The kids might enjoy the hammock more than Taylor.

On a chilly and windy June morning we went to the air show in Rexburg.
It was way colder than we would have liked it to be, but the kids had a blast.
This car looked just like Sarge from the Movie Cars, so Hudson was pretty impressed.

Our big event in June was going to California for Taylor's brother's wedding.
You can read all about the fun we had here.

And now for some random pictures from the month..
