November 2020

Squeezed in a late fall family bike ride on an unseasonably warm day.
Avery rode on the trail behind bike for the first time. Her feet couldn't really touch the petal, but she loved it nontheless.

We voted!
Ella's little bestie happened to be with us, and they were quite the sight to see.
Let's just say there was an office chair spinning session in the foyer while waiting for Taylor to finish voting.

Hudson got his school picture back

I spent some time painting our piano.
My sister got the piano for a birthday in high school, and my parents brought it with them when they moved out here.

I went on a girls trip with some friends.
It was SO much fun!

We stayed at a hotel in downtown Salt Lake City for 2 nights while the husbands took care of the kids back home.

we ate a lot.

and shopped even more.
The back of my car was stuffed with all of our finds.
Lots of Christmas decorations, and a few presents.

We spent Thanksgiving with my family.
It was the first time I have had Thanksgiving with my parents since I graduated high school

We had dinner at my parents, and then we went to my brother's house for pie.

The kids had a great time pillow fighting after dessert. Poor Ella was gained up on by 4-5 boys unless the 2 year old girls decided to jump in for a minute.

12 Months of Oaklee// Month 11

Weight: 16ish pounds

Diapers: Size 3

Clothes: 6-9 months. Onesies are on the small side length wise in this size, but jammies still fit her great. I just pulled out some 9-12 month clothes so we'll see how those fit her tomorrow.

Sleeping: Sleeps 7-7:30 or 8ish at night. She has finally stopped getting up with the bigger kids at 6:30. She goes down for her first nap around 9 and gets up any time between 11-12 and then takes another nap around 1 or 2 and sleeps until 5-5:30.

Eating: We give her a 4 ounce bottle when she first wakes up in the morning and then before every nap, but otherwise she eats table food if she is hungry. There hasn't been a food that she doesn't like. Her favorites are yogurt melts, puffs, steamed veggies, chicken, any kind of pasta, and crackers.

Milestones: She has had another 2 teeth come in with another one halfway in, and one more that has just poked through. She stands without holding onto anything for long periods of time now. She also stands up without hold onto anything ( like in the middle of a room) FIRST STEPS. He record is 3 steps, so she still has a ways to go before she is actually walking.

Likes: Food, walks in the stroller, sensory poppers, standing, her blanket when she is going to sleep.

Dislikes: Getting her nose wiped. She's not a huge fan of grass. She has a limit that she will reach with Ella playing with her and then she's just done and will yell at her.

Ella time is just about all the time.

One of the kids took the picture of her in the lemon sleeper, but I love that it's her taking in the scene of her crazy siblings.

She's kind of been getting her butt kicked by hives lately.
This was one of her worst times with new ones popping up every day for a couple of days.
We still have no clue what is causing them, but thankfully they still don't seem to bother her.
